Suburban Camp: Quick and easy to become a Roman

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

A brand new programme of the traditional summer suburban camp, during which children in grades 1-5 of primary school will learn about Roman history and the everyday life of ancient man. Organised by the Department of Classical Studies, Faculty of Arts MU.

Latin text written on an ancient curse tablet from Savaria is due to corrosion almost unreadable today. Thus, philologist used modern technology to read it.

A new textbook of Modern Greek, created by a team from the DCS, has just been published. It is the first modern Czech textbook of Modern Greek, which as the only textbook on the market offers a comprehensive interpretation of the system of Modern Greek.
