Latin Day also took place in Brno for the first time
It was attended by almost 200 high school students. A part of the programme was connected online with Prague in both ways.
Latin text written on an ancient curse tablet from Savaria is due to corrosion almost unreadable today. Thus, philologist (among them also Daniela Urbanová from the Department of Classical Studies) collaborated with archeologists and engeneers and used tomography to read the text.

They were taken there by the suburban camp of the Department of Classical Studies of the Faculty of Arts MU. Thanks to it, the children learned to sail on the sea, to move nimbly in a jib, to build a Trojan horse, to organize chariot races and much more.
