Call for Papers: Laetae segetes VIII – deadline extended
An opportunity for beginning researchers to present their work. After a break "offline" in Brno again. The deadline for proposals has been extended to 31 August 2022.

The event represents an opportunity for academic scholars as well as beginning researchers to present their work. During this event, scholars from various universities are encouraged to submit their contributions. The final papers will also be considered for publication in the journal Neograeca Bohemica.
The conference is planned to be held onsite. Parallel sessions and panel discussions will be scheduled over two days. Papers will be grouped by thematic sessions. There will also be several additional events.

Individual 20-minute paper presentations will be followed by 5 minutes of discussion. The conference's language is English.
All papers will be considered for publication Neograeca Bohemica (articles published in this journal are covered by the database ERIH+).
The standard registration fee is 50 EUR / 1 200 CZK.
The participation fee includes: a reception meal (as specified in the conference program), refreshments during coffee breaks, and a guided sightseeing tour.
The participation fee does not include: hotel booking and payment. The organizers recommend Hotel Continental, where university guests get a price reduction.
Payment should be made by bank transfer until October 10, 2023 (detailed instructions will be sent together with the acceptance notification).
If the conference takes place as an online one, the registration fee will be reduced to minimum.
Abstracts of papers to be presented in English are invited for consideration by the Conference Academic Committee. Please submit your abstract (up to 200 words) until August 31, 2023, via the online registration form.
Acceptance notification will be sent to you until September 15, 2023.
