Exploring the Heartland

We invite you to a lecture by Mgr. Aaron Plattner (Universität Graz) Exploring the Heartland: Pausanias and his Account on Imperial Greece's pre-Roman Cultural Heritage. The lecture will be held both in person (G25) and online.

2. The work’s descriptive sections (4 types)
3. The work’s narrative sections (focus on Barbarians)
4. Concluding the author’s unspoken intention
5. Differences/similarities with the Periegesis of Dionysius from Alexandria
6. Overall evaluation
